The problem of western Sahara worsened with the beginning of the exit of the colonial powers from the region and the consequences of this exit from border problems, and after Morocco gained its independence in 1956 he demanded his right to Spanish property, including Western Sahara.

Since the issue was presented to the international community, Algeria has taken one position, namely, the elimination of colonialism, which is to decide the destiny and liberation of the Sahrawi people.

As for the results, it is represented in the fact that all decisions issued by some international organizations have not proven that they have legal ties that would affect the application of Resolution No 1514 related to decolonization.

and that Algeria's position on this issue is based on the principles of the revolutionary liberation.
