The study concluded that the problem of inflation is a complex economic phenomenon that does not formed by just one economic factor, such as the rapid circulation of money or the increase in cash liquidity, but it is caused by profound structural imbalances such as deterioration The productivity of the economic sectors outside the hydrocarbons sector (agriculture, industry, services) and the increase in production costs.

The study also found a close relationship between stagnation and distortion of the production structure (weak contribution of production sectors in GDP) and inflation rates.
