Abstract EN

The development of the South has become one of the priorities of the Algerian government, which aims at finding a kind of developmental balance between these regions and enhancing the living standards of the population in order to prevent the continuous population migration to the north.

Ouargla and Ellizi show quite opposite behavior in terms of their development levels.

While Ouargla has advanced positions both at the south and at the national level in terms of investment, Ellizi is ranked last in terms of investment projects.

This highlights the need to launch serious studies in Ellizi and adjacent regions in domains that facilitate life, and thus attract investment, especially in the field of tourism, which is one of the keys to the success of this region classified globally.
