تعد الأسطورة و عاء لا ينضب تغذى على ثماره كثير من الأدباء في كل زمان و مكان و خلدوا بذلك أعمالا إبداعية رفيعة تحمل رسالة سامية.
و من هذه الأساطير أسطورة "إفيجينيا" التي كانت مددا للعديد من الشعراء و الكتاب يستمدون منها مادتهم و موضوعاتهم ليعالجوا من خلالها قضية من قضايا المجتمع و الإنسان.
تنتمي أسطورة "إفيجينيا" إلى مجتمع قد تجمعنا به بعض الملامح المشتركة لكنه -في أغلب ملامحه بعيد عنا في الزمان و المكان و من ثم فهي لا تثير فينا الوشائج التي تشدنا إلى التراث إلا بالقدر الذي يسمح به المعنى الإنساني العام للتراث.
لذلك سيسعى هذا المقال إلى محاولة تبيين الحضور الأسطوري الإغريقي في المسرح الغربي

The influence of the myth of »Iphigenia « on European literature The myth is an inexhaustible resource by witch many writers have been inspired across ages and times, and whose high-level creative works carry a noble message.
Among these myths, there is a myth called »Iphigenia « , that it has been an inspiration to many writers and poets, and a reference for their works and poems in order to express their point of view on different societal and human issues.
The myth of » Iphigenia « belongs to a society, with whom we share some common features, but which is in most of its features - far from us in time and place, and therefore it does not raise the bonds that draw us to the heritage, only to the extent allowed by the heritage general human meaning.
For this reason, we will try by the present article to show the Greek legendary presence in the occidental theater.

L’influence du mythe d’Iphigénie sur la littérature européenne Le mythe est une source inépuisable pour de nombreux écrivains qui en ont été inspirés à travers les âges et dont les chefs d’œuvres portent un message noble.
Parmi ces mythes, il existe un mythe appelé « Iphigénie », lequel mythe a inspiré de nombreux écrivains et poètes et a constitué une référence pour leurs œuvres et leurs poèmes afin d’exprimer leur point de vue sur différents problèmes sociétaux et humains.
Le mythe d’Iphigénie appartient à une société avec laquelle nous partageons certains traits, mais qui est dans la plupart de ses traits – bien loin de nous en temps et en lieu, et ne créant donc les liens qui nous attirent vers l’héritage, que dans la mesure que permet le sens humain et général de l’héritage.
A cet effet, nous tenterons par le présent article de montrer la présence du mythe grec dans le théâtre européen.
