Abstract EN

This study aims at indicating the effect of using a balanced Scorecard on enhancing the competitive advantage in tourism companies.

A questionnaire was directed to tourism companies (category A) to examine the hypotheses of the study.

The main results of the study show that there is an abstract effect of the balanced Scorecard dimensions on enhancing the competitive advantage of tourism companies.

The study recommends that it is necessary for the high administration of the Egyptian tourism companies to adopt the administrative methods in evaluating the performance, and to include it among its plans and policies to make use of companies experiments that applied the balanced scorecard.
