Abstract EN

The reader who reads the morphologists' classifications of sound verbs into salem, Mahmoz and modhaf, and the weak verbs into the medhaaf, agwaf , nagus, and lefeef, may think that this is the only classification of these types of verbs since many of the ancient and modern morphology books mentioned only this classification and did not refer to any another classification.

However, I noticed disorder and confusion in this classification.

This led me to read all the morphologists' books, and I discovered that there are more than eight other classifications and some of them are better in my opinion than this classification, which is adopted in all modern morphological studies.The study is divided into two sections.

The first section dealt with the classification in which the morphologists regarded Almahmoz and medhaaf as sound verbs and showed the incorrectness of this classification.

In the second section, I tackled the classifications in which the previously mentioned verbs are not regarded sound verbs and from these classifications, I have chosen the most acceptable one which causes no confusion at all.
