Abstract EN

The toponymic and tribalistic aspects in line with the manuscript « tasmiyet Mashayekh el Wahbiya » (6AH/12AD)This manuscript that I propose, entitled "About some masters" Sheikh "of Wahbism» belongs to an anonymous of the medieval time and which still remains without study in depth.

It contains valuable indications and informations about geography, tribes and doctrines.

The manuscript exists in four copies in the different libraries of Ghardaia, in addition to lithographic copies recently reprinted.

The manuscript had already been pointed out by some Orientalists who were interested in Ibadism, mainly by the Polish Levitsky in his article (1961) entitled "Ibadite Wahbite Historians in North Africa, " which was based on a lithograph that was available at this time.

This manuscript then, consists of a nominal list of leaders of the Ibadite doctrine typified according to their tribal affiliation and their center of influence in the Maghreb such: Tripolis, Neffoussa, Djerba, Jeride, Zab, Ouargla and Ghardia, and may allows us to better know the Maghreb tribes with Ibadite devotion and the most influential.
