Abstract EN

This research aims at showing the critical personality of the eminent Sheikh Rahmatullah Al- Hindi through his criticism of the Bible.

Such aspect has occupied the minds of contemporary Muslim and Christian scholars.

Sheikh Rahmatullah Al- Hindi (May Allah have mercy on him) was one of the pioneers of text- criticism.

He devised a new approach based upon intellectual and methodological independence which involved abolishing the inherited legacy based that relied on the tradition of general explanation and repetition.

He moved towards a new vision linked directly to the text as a breeding ground.

In this research, the researcher has relied on the analytical and descriptive approach to reach his final results.
