Abstract EN

The visual creation of a poem includes all written manifestations.

Some contemporary Arab poets are interested in innovation through creating new written manifestations to enrich the meaning and motivate the reader.

Originally, those new manifestations either have their origins in the Arabic heritage or have some relation with similar innovative manifestations in the modern western poetry.

Mohammed Habibi is one of the most eminent Saudi poets who excelled in the visual creation of the poem since new written manifestations have appeared in his poems.

The research at hand aims at studying those manifestations in Habibi's five published volumes to show their meanings in the contexts where they were mentioned.

The research has applied the semiotic approach in the analysis of Habibi's works.

Procedurally, the research has relied on description and analysis.

Finally, the research has concluded with the most prominent manifestations of visual creation in the poetry of Mohammed Habibi sush as images, drawings, colors, whiteness, blackness, visual inflections, defragmenting words and punctuation.

Those manifestations have influenced the meaning in many poetic models by means of symbols and inspiration something which is compatible with the nature of poetry.
