Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the extent to which eating disorders contribute to predicting emotional intelligence in adolescents.

To achieve the goal a measure (eating disorders) was applied by the researcher, and the (Emotional intelligence ) scale was prepared by the researcher, on the same sample (n=100) of adolescent girls, ranging in age (20-35)years.

The results indicated that the eating disorder variable contributes to the prediction of emotional intelligence in adolescents, Also, There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores for the age groups ( the upper category from 28-35)(the lowest category from20-27) on measures of emotional intelligence and eating disorders among the sample members.
