Abstract EN

This research tackles and scrutinizes the unarticulated language semiology which is based on using body organs for knight poets in the Pre-Islamic Era.

The academic and research interest of this nonverbal language has culminated during the last four decades.

As a result, many scholars and researchers from several disciplines and different specializations have joined to the study of language semiology including: psychology, anthropology and linguistics.

This research is based on using the semiology methodology as this research relied on using the body as one of the constructing features of poetic texts.

Body of a knight poet is regarded as a main system that has several meanings.

This nonverbal system includes his external appearance, expresses his internal feelings based on deepness of his psychological status which results in internal struggles which are in turn manifested in gestures or performing (intended of non-intended) body signs.

Such signs are nonverbal sings with particular features that has a particular language consisting of gestures and signs.
