Abstract EN

This research, entitled "Self-Esteem in the Dermatologist between Influence and being influenced," aims at finding the quality of the effect between dermatology and self-esteem, and which of them starts first.

Therefore, we opened this research with the following problem: "Is there a relationship between the incidence of skin diseases and self-esteem?" In our study we presented the basic definitions of both skin diseases and self-esteem with the inclusion of some basic studies on both variables.

The study concluded that there is an effect of low self-esteem or one of its manifestations on the appearance of skin injury.

It also showed that there is an effect on the psychological side of the skin diseases, including self-esteem, and therefore the treatment of skin diseases in terms of study and treatment should not upset either side: The impact on the mental and physical.
