Abstract EN

This article aims to study the Algerian economic enterprises situation in light of the economic developments and the Euro-Algeria Association Agreement effects since it entered into force in September 2005.

The European Union is Algeria's largest trading partner and orbs the major part of Algerian foreign trade.

Therefore, this study addresses the content of the Association Agreement and its effects, especially with regard to the development of Algerian enterprises and their competitiveness.

As a case study, the Hammoud Boualam Company for soft drinks has been studied in this context, Depending on the interview method.

The study results concluded that the Association Agreement has had positive and negative consequences on Algerian enterprises, but the negative effects remain dominant.

In order to support the competitiveness of its economic enterprises and its economy as a whole, Algeria and the EU meet regularly to discuss issues and best practices when applying the agreement.
