The Stakeholder theory shows the progress of the enterprise in an environment in which a group of representatives has different requirements that the enterprise will assume its social commitments towards them.

In this paper, we will try to explain the contribution of this theory to lighten the concept of social responsibility of the enterprise on the one hand, and on the other, to clarify the balance between economic responsibility and social responsibility.

This paper has been based on a theoretical and applied perspective using the case study method on the most important enterprise in the pharmaceutical sector in Algeria, the SAIDAL complex, which seeks to achieve balance between both social and economic responsibility.
