For more than thirty years, the environmental issue has significantly risen in scientific, institutional and academic circles and has then spread in the press as well as the ordinary discourses.
In response to that, new terms have been created to designate new concepts, which resulted in the emergence of neologisms.
Thus, our study will focus on all the terminological creations, clearly dated and linked to the concept of "ecological refugees".
So far, several terms are used in order to designate these people ; thus creating a conceptual vagueness.
Therefore, our study will put emphasis on the emergence and propagation of these neological forms in the French-speaking press.
We will follow the evolution of the concept of “ecological refugees” and its terminological variations through a scientific watch, made possible thanks to Euro press, in order to identify which neologism has established them over time.
الملخص FRE
Depuis plus de trente ans, la question environnementale connaît un essor dans les milieux scientifiques, institutionnels et académiques et s’est ensuite propagée dans le discours de la presse et le discours ordinaire.
Face à cette nouvelle thématique, de nouveaux termes ont été créés en vue de désigner de nouveaux concepts ; d’où l’émergence de néologismes.
Ainsi, notre étude s’intéressera à l’ensemble des créations terminologiques, clairement datées, liées au concept de «réfugiés écologiques».
Jusqu’à présent, il n’existe pas un terme unique pour désigner ces personnes ; créant ainsi un flou conceptuel.
Nous nous intéresserons donc à l’émergence et à la propagation de ces formes néologiques dans la presse francophone.
Il s’agira de suivre l’évolution du concept de «réfugiés écologiques» et de ses variations terminologiques, et ce, à travers une veille scientifique rendue possible grâce à Europresse, afin d’observer quell (s) néologisme (s) ont su s’imposer au fil du temps.
