Impact of inflation on economic growth : standard study-Algeria (1990-2018)‎

The study aimed to clarify the impact of inflation on the Algerian economic growth through the standard study based on annual data for the period from 1990 to 2018, so it was reliance on economic variables: the rate of growth of per capita GDP as the dependent variable represents the economic growth rate and inflation as measured by the consumer prices index representing the independent variable.

The results indicated that the fixed effects model suitable for study, and we have a long-term impact and negative inflation index on the rate of growth, the existence of a causal relationship with a long-term and one direction and this, according to the joint integration test of directness
