Law No16-09 on the promotion of investment includes a set of principles devoted to the interest of investors in order to attract them to invest in Algeria, including the benefit of foreign investors from fair and equitable treatment regarding the rights and duties related to their investments, the establishment of the principle of legislative stability, protection of investor property, the possibility of foreign investor resorting to arbitration In addition to the principle of free transfer of the invested capital and the returns resulting the reform, these principles are characterized by relativity due to the presence of many restrictions that hinder their effectiveness.

La loi n ° 16-09 relative à la promotion de l'investissement comprend un ensemble de principes consacrés à l'intérêt des investisseurs afin de les inciter à investir en Algérie, y compris le bénéfice des investisseurs étrangers d'un traitement juste et équitable en ce qui concerne les droits et devoirs liés à leurs investissements, l'instauration du principe de stabilité législative, la protection de la propriété des investisseurs, la possibilité pour l'investisseur étranger de recourir à l'arbitrage.

Outre le principe du libre transfert du capital investi et du produit qui en résulte, ces principes se caractérisent par une relativité due à la présence de nombreuses restrictions qui entravent leur efficacité.
