The impact of the application of information and communication technologies on the performance of SMEs : study of a sample of small and medium-sized enterprises

the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in SMEs has become an important element that has a positive impact on the performance of this type of enterprises.

In this context and through this study, we have tried to highlight the impact of use (ICT) on the performance of some small and medium-sized enterprises active in the north-western region of Algeria.

The results of the study showed that the application of ICTs in SMEs in an appropriate and effective way could contribute to improving the performance of these companies, particularly in terms of financial, commercial and competitive performance.
