Business ethics and corporate social responsibility : analytical study of North Africa and the Middle East (MENA)‎ region

The study aimed to identify CSR practices in the MENA region.

This descriptive-analytical study has relied on reports and statistics from different sources: the study of (Gerged & Christopher J Cowton, 2017), Report of “HAWKAMAH “, Civil Society Organization Index 2016, ESG Index… etc.

Results show that companies in the region are oriented towards philanthropic responsibilities more than economic, legal ones.

Opportunities for improvement are ahead if companies overcome political, socio-cultural, and environmental challenges.
