This paper aimed to conduct a comparative analytical study between Altman, Kida and Sherrod model in predicting the financial failure three years before it occurs a sample of 30 joint stock companies listed on the ASE.

The study found that there is a difference in the results of applying the three financial failure prediction models.

However, the KEDA model is considered the best in predicting the failure of joint stock companies listed on the ASE during the three years preceding the Failure with a rating accuracy of 66.
