To investigate CRP’s physiologies and their relationship with human pathological significance, it is essential to use appropriate animal models for translational research.

The most popular models for the study of CRP are transgenic mice.

However, researchers should be careful when extrapolating the findings derived from these animal models.

This review will discuss the current concerns on CRP transgenic mice and rabbits.
