الملخص EN

An enhanced hybrid technique combining the multilevelfast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) and the physical optics(PO) is presented for analyzing scattering and radiation byelectrically large structures.

Based on the previously proposedhybrid technique, an extra octree structure is built for themoment method (MoM) region to accelerate the solving processand an iteration scheme is proposed to further enhance theefficiency compared to the conventional hybrid method.

Whatis more, the modified iterative physical optics (IPO) acceleratedby MLFMA technique is adopted to improve the accuracy bysimulating complex structures with strong reflections.

Numericalresults are given to demonstrate the improved accuracy andhigher accuracy of the proposed hybrid technique compared tothe previous MLFMA-PO method.
