Scientific and technical developments in the field of communication and media technology have led to the multiplicity and diversity of media functions and increasing its powers.

Educational media and its basic components and how educational media contribute in the light of recent developments by building knowledge societies.

The research community was determined from three Iraqi universities that are distinguished by the scientific and humanitarian departments (Baghdad, Mustansiriya and Nahrain) and the sample of graduate students in the stages of (Masters and PhD) for the scientific and humanitarian branches, the sample size was extracted from the research community by 5% is ( three hundred fifty ).

The results of the study showed that Arab societies are still not aware of knowledge societies and are in the process of building their information infrastructure, but are still consuming knowledge and have not been able to produce it yet.

There are a lot of modern concepts that the Iraqi researcher was not able to take and know and there are many knowledge services available on the Internet pages the Iraqi researcher was unable to possess sufficient information in its use and benefit from its services.
