This study aims to research the description phenomenon in the novel as an ideal artistic technique that the writer uses in the narrative discourse to serve the delivery of meaning, and one of the fundamentals of building the novel and depicting characters, place, time, events and situations, and the importance of this technology is highlighted by its ability to address the reader's senses and evoke an imaginary world through which the novelist broadcasts his ideas and visions to the recipient and their accompanying narration without dispensing with them, and this technique has special philosophical concepts, levels and types that gave an artistic and genius feature to the new novel.
