Adult onset cutaneous mastocytosis : a case report

A 79-year-old male patient presented with generalized erythematous itchy papular rash of two years duration.

On examination, the patient had red-brown macules and papules that urticated with rubbing.

Dermatopathology confirmed the diagnosis of mastocytosis.

Adult onset mastocytosis is unusual and differs in many aspects from childhood disease.
