This article aims to study the writing of violence in Salim Bachi’s novel I, Khaled Kelkal.
First, the analysis is conducted through an examinationof thequest for the self in a disenchanted world whichis characterized by an explosion of the space time dimensions.
Second, the article focuses on the (de)construction of a fragmented narrative discourse through a process of duplication of the character - narrator, that of the internationally-known terrorist Khaled Kelkal .
The analysis of Bachi’s novel helps give meaning to a discourse that takes shape in the present while it opens to the past in an atmosphere of questioning
الملخص FRE
Cet article se propose d'étudier l'écriture de la violence dans le roman Moi, Khaled Kelkal de Salim Bachi.
Nous avons choisi d'analyser la transcription de cette violence à la fois à travers une quête de traces dans un univers désenchanté, caractérisé par un éclatement spatio-temporel dominant et à travers une (dé)construction d'un discours narratif fragmenté dans un processus de dédoublement du personnage-narrateur, celui du terroriste mondialement connu: Khaled Kelkal.
L'analyse du roman de Bachi permet de donner sens à un discours qui prend forme dans le présent et s'ouvre sur le passé dans une atmosphère de remise en cause.
