الملخص الإنجليزي

The study was conducted on the plant of the Melaleuca viminalis L.

trees in the plastic house of the Department of Horticulture and landscape Design, College of Agriculture and Forestry, Mosul University for the period from January to July 2018 to study the effects of planting dates, which included 3 dates : 1 January, 15 February and 1 April , And Root Solution IBA , NAA and cinnamon extracts, which were C1 0 , C2 750 mg.l-1 both of (IBA and NAA) , C3 1500 mg.l-1 both of (IBA and NAA) , C4 750 mg.l-1 both of (IBA and NAA) extract cinnamon 2 mg.100ml-1 , C5 750 mg.l-1 (IBA and NAA) extract cinnamon 4 mg.

100 ml -1 , C6 2 mg.100ml-1 extract cinnamon and C7 4 mg.100ml-1 extract cinnamon, Using quickdip method .

The experiment was carried out used the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 3 replications and 8 cuttings per repeater (3 * 2 * 7).

The second date gave the highest value for the number of roots, length of root and length of vegetative growth.

The first date gave the highest value of root diameter.

As for the effect of auxin solutions, the concentration of C4 was better than the other used concentrations as it increased the rooting ratio and all other root traits.

The comparison treatment gave the highest value of the number of leaves, the interaction between the second date with rooting solution C4 , gave the highest value for the rooting ratio of 76.67%, and the highest value for the number of roots, length, number of leaves and length of vegetative growth .

The first date and root solution C3 gave the highest value of the root diameter
