Fundamentally, as much binder as possible should be incorporated in the bituminous mixture to mainly plugs the voids, the aggregate should be thoroughly coated with bitumen, and a durable impermeable mixture should be obtained.

The excess binder should not be added too much to lower the stability by both dynamic traffic and environmental conditions.

Bituminous mix resists the repetitive dynamic traffic load and consequential environmental changes by interlocked friction force between aggregate particles and adhesive force between bitumen and aggregate grains.

Therefore, due to any reason, binder content could be more or less, and the bituminous mix would be suffering from lower stability or greater flow.

Referring to this deficit and also due to the horizontal tensile strain at lower section created by the above-mentioned reasons, many problems would be created such as pavement deformation and failure.

To minimize such kind of problems, the situation needs a deeper thinking to the main reasons behind these problems.

Therefore, in addition to determination of optimum binder content, using any sort of reinforcement became a very major aspect to assist eliminating and resisting the horizontal tensile forces inside the paving matrix.

Glass fiber is introduced here in this study to be used as a tool of reinforcement to enhance the pavement matrix strength.

The main purpose of this paper is primarily conducted to find out the ranges of chopped Glass Fiber contents and lengths that could be used to investigate the varied influence of those ranges on both Stability and Flow values of bituminous mix.

Glass fiber content 0.2 % by weight of aggregate of 40-mm fiber length showed a significant increase in Marshall Stability and a significant decrease in Marshall flow.
