Ip over WDM network control : network addressing and restoration

There are some common network control issues in IP over WDM (IP/ WDM) which includes network addressing, neighborhood discovery, routing behavior, connection setup and tear down, signaling mechanism, network access control and IP/ WDM protection and restoration.

Among them network addressing and restoration are two major research area.

In this paper these two issues have been discussed.

This paper also contains two different case studies based on light path provisioning and segment restoration.
