The research aims at identifying (The Effect of Skills of the Contemplative Thinking in the Expressive Performance for the Preparatory school students).

To achieve the aim, the researcher has randomly chosen Albayadir secondary school for boys then he chose the fifth scientific grade / practical – Class A to represent the experimental group that studies the compositisn subject according to skills of the contemplative thinking and fifth scientific grade / practical – Class A to represent the controlling group that studies the composition subject in the traditional method.

- The research population consists of (150) students divided into (75) experimental group students and (75) controlling group students through (halving) of classes A and B and dealt with them statistically through the following variables: - (Age of students – equality in months), (Arabic language scores in mid-year exam) and (parents academic qualification); after identifying the elected subjects, two plans have been presented (contemplative and ordinary thinking) which will be studied in the experiment.

- The researcher prepared educational plans for topics that will be discussed in the experiment after presenting them to a committee of experts and specialists to insure validity and conduct amendments.

- Through the whole period of the experiment (12) weeks, the test have been initiated weekly starting from 20-02-2018 to 08-05-2018.

- The researcher used the following statistical means: T-Test for two independent samples, Chi-squared test and Pearson's correlation coefficient; after statistically analyzing the results, the researcher reached the following conclusions: - (There are differences of statistical significance at the significance level (0, 05) in the expressive performance since the experimental group students who studied the expression subject according to skills of the contemplative thinking have superseded the controlling group students who studied the same subject with the ordinary thinking.

- Most important recommendation: the necessity to adopt contemplative thinking which achieved good results in teaching expression subject in the preparatory grade / the necessity to train Arabic language teachers on contemplative thinking skills / the necessity to take care of expression subject and not to neglect or replace it.

Researcher's suggestions: conduct similar studies in other school grades / conduct similar studies on different age groups or other branches (vocational, literary, and scientific).
