Bakel has now become one of the Senegalese cities where Baol-baol migrants are settling more and more.
The present work aims to report on the control of trade by these Baol-Baol migrants in Bakel.
It is based on a literature search, a survey of 150 Baol-baol migrants, free exchanges with the populations and observations.
The information gathered shows that the influence of the city of Bakel as a result of emigrant remittances results in the arrival of Baol-baol migrants who control the trade there.
This control brings difficulties of supply of fresh vegetables and influences the activities of the city during the period of the Touba magal.

Bakel est devenue actuellement l'une des villes sénégalaises où les migrants baol-baol s'installent de plus en plus.
Le présent travail se propose de rendre compte du contrôle du commerce par ces migrants baol-baol à Bakel.
Il s'appuie sur une recherche documentaire, une enquête conduite auprès de 150 migrants baol-baol, des échanges libres avec les populations et des observations.
Il ressort des informations recueillies que le rayonnement de la ville de Bakel sous l'effet des envois de fonds des émigrés se traduit par l'arrivée des migrants baol-baol qui y contrôlent le commerce.
Ce contrôle est porteur de difficultés d'approvisionnement en légumes frais et influe sur les activités de la ville en période de magal de Touba.
