Furosemide induced linear iga bullous dermatosis

A case of linear IgA bullous dermatosis in a 59-year-old female patient is reported.

She developed generalized erythema and bullous eruption few months after starting furosemide treatment for arterial hypertension.

Histopathology revealed a subepidermal blister, and direct immunofluorescence disclosed linear IgA deposits along the epidermal basement membrane.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of this disease
