Natural gas is a fuel cleaner and less emission of polluting gases, as well as being an important source of energy, whether mechanical or electrical in the transport and industrial sectors, which as the raw material for Petrochemical Industries and as agricultural production, protein and other materials, as is the gas of the most important alternative energy oil sources, and contributes about 25 % of the energy consumed in the world, and Iraq did not begin real production of it, but at the end of the seventies of the last century, it has a great wealth of associated crude oil and natural gas, but what marketer of production is disproportionate to the reserve and the product of it, due to the burning and waste large amounts from him, as well as underdevelopment in the field of gas industry in Iraq, and on the impact of foreign direct investment by the partnership, it is expected that the industry is in the light of the global expectations in this area in future advanced towards meeting local needs, requirements and thinking to guide the surplus for export, have reached research to the conclusion that this resource will be invested optimally and commensurate with the extent of the need for revenue, although the possibility of his contribution to the adoption of new gas industries.
