الملخص EN

The control of money supply to dominate on the high inflation, also keeping stability of domestic currency exchange rate against foreign currencies, are both the most important monetary political means for various governments' systems.

The research aims to show effect of net currency in exchanging and money supply in the narrow meaning and money supply in the broad meaning on the prices level of (inflation), and the foreign exchange rate in Iraqi economics.

The research depends on the descriptive, theoretical, and analytical approach and the quantitative standard approach by using statistic program (SPSS).

The most important conclusions that the research has reached that money supply (M0, M1, M2) have extrusive effect on a record of consumer prices and the foreign exchange rate, and the analysis results have been corresponded with the economic theory, whereas the net currency in exchanging it's high more than money supply in the narrow and broad meaning on a record of consumer prices and foreign exchange rate, also effect of money supply components on the inflation was high more than its effect on ID exchange rate against USD.

Iraqi economics suffers underdevelopment of banking awareness and services which it's indicate rising currency in exchanging and reduction of checkable deposits that's led to weakened role of monetary policy to reduce high inflation rate and slump of ID exchange rate against USD.
