The reality of the administrative performance for agricultural extension workers in the extension activities for treating field waste to preserve the environment and human health : a field study in Baghdad Province al-Karkh

The aim of the research is to know the reality of the administrative performance of agricultural extension workers looking for agricultural extension activities by recycling field waste to preserve the environment and human health, and to determine the relationship between the reality of the administrative performance of agricultural extension workers in the indicative activities that they conducted and between the independent variables studied, The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research was conducted in Baghdad / Al-Karkh province.

The total number of agricultural extension agents, members of the research sample, reached 160, and the data were processed with some statistical tools.

The data of the study were collected by a personal interview method for agricultural extension workers, members of the research sample, using a questionnaire form after verifying its validity and reliability by appropriate scientific and statistical methods, during the months of November and December 2019 and January of 2020.

The results showed that 46.9% of the respondents had a low level of administrative performance of the extension activities in field waste recycling, with a mean of 46.25 degrees with a standard deviation of 27.3 degrees, The variables of governmental transportation availability, age, number of years of agricultural experience, and number of years of extension experience have a positive and strong moral relationship to the reality of administrative performance.

The research recommends that the state pay attention to the segment of agricultural extension agents, adopt appropriate training programs for their work, provide the necessary supplies for their work, as well as provide material and moral incentives to accomplish their work.
