Phyllodes tumor in ectopic breast tissue of the vulva : a case report

Phyllodes tumor is a rare fibroepithelial neoplasm of the breast.

The majority of Phyllodes tumors occur in women between the ages of 35-55 years.

Phyllodes tumors arising in aberrant breast tissue in the vulva are a very rare occurrence.

We report a case of a 34 year-old, single woman, diagnosed to have this tumor on the left labium majus.

Excision was carried out, and no recurrence has been detected at 3, 9 and 18 months
