This work is interested with the modeling of the relationship between hydrocarbon exports, the balance of payment and economic growth in Algeria.
We applied the ARDL (Autoregressive Distributed Lag) estimation method to model the longterm and short-term dynamics of the impact of the variation in oil revenues and the balance of payments on growth in Algeria.
The results of the estimates, within the framework of the specification used, lead to the conclusion that there is a positive impact of hydrocarbon exports and the payments's balance on economic growth.
These results can be explained mainly by the unproductive nature implied by Algeria and a structure characterized by the total abundance of hydrocarbons export
الملخص FRE
Ce travail s'est intéressé à la modélisation de la relation entre les exportations en hydrocarbures, le solde de la balance de paiement et la croissance économique en Algérie.
Nous avons appliqué la méthode d'estimation ARDL (AutoregressiveDistributedLag) pour modéliser la dynamique de long terme et de court terme de l'impact la variation des recettes pétroliers et le solde de la balance de paiement sur la croissance en Algérie.
Les résultats des estimations, dans le cadre de la spécification utilisé, conduisent à conclure qu'il y a un impact positif des exportations en hydrocarbures et le solde de la balance de paiement s sur la croissance économique.
Ces résultats s'expliquent essentiellement par le caractère improductif impliqué par l'Algérie et une structure caractérisée par l'abondance total à l'exportation des hydrocarbures.
