That one of the most important components of the development and development of organizations is the presence of wise leadership with a strategic dimension in its management approach, so that it has the ability to protect and maintain the components of the organization from crises and various conflicts based on solid foundations and rules, bearing the meanings of efficiency and the ability to instability.

The main objective of the study is to reveal the role of strategic leadership in crisis management of the security services, and the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the questionnaire was developed to confirm the existence of the relationship and influence between the variables of the study and by using a class sample of (269) of the commanding officers and the rank of (Major General, Dean), Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Leader) of a society that amounted to (894) and was distributed to Babil Governorate Police Directorate and was analyzed by the program (SPSS Ver.

23 and AMOS Ver.

23) to process the data that was employed in a computer program designed and analyzed its results.

The results showed that there is a correlation and positive impact between the variables of the study and this means that increased interest in strategic leadership, whether at the macro level or at the level of dimensions and its adaptation will contribute strongly to increasing the capacity of the Babil Governorate Police Directorate from the crisis management, as well as the Babil Governorate Police Directorate contributed to the development of associates And empowering them by taking their views and their participation in setting the goals of the directorate and solving work problems and providing all the necessary information for the affiliates to accomplish their tasks efficiently, and a weakness was observed by the Babil Governorate Police Directorate regarding updating the strategic perceptions of the directorate in a manner consistent with the changes taking place.

Among the most important recommendations is the need to rehabilitate the security leadership to build scenarios and strategies in managing modern crises through training programs in this field, and it is necessary for the Babylon Police Department to update the strategic perceptions of the Directorate periodically in line with the changes taking place.
