This study seeks to take stock of the teaching of translation in Algeria by emphasizing the multilingual dimension, which characterizes the Algerian society, and to propose a progressive method of teaching translation, which could be further explored, for effective teaching, in which the intralinguistic element constitute the cornerstone.

Cette étude a pour objectif de faire un état des lieux de l'enseignement de la traduction en Algérie: -en mettant l'accent sur la dimension plurilingue qui caractérise la société; - et en proposant une méthode progressive d'enseignement de la traduction qui pourrait être explorée davantage pour un enseignement efficace, dans laquelle le volet intralinguistique constitue la pierre angulaire de la formation.
