The school manual is a concise didactic work support capable of preparing learners for life.
It is considered as a toolbox which provides precise answers and multiple information.
The manual obviously plays a fundamental role in human relations.
This contribution aims to analyze the representations (socio-historical, religious) of French that the 3ème AS textbook conveys and their impact on the teaching / learning of FLE.
We will see that, far from the educational objectives, the manual can sometimes be used for instrumentalization, or even to influence its users.
الملخص FRE
Le manuel scolaire est un support de travail didactique, concis, capable de préparer les apprenants à la vie.
Il est considéré comme une boîte à outils qui apporte des réponses précises et des informations multiples.
Le manuel joue, à l'évidence, un rôle fondamental dans les rapports interhumain.
Cette contribution se propose d'analyser les représentations (socio-historique, religieuses) du français que le manuel de 3ème AS véhicule et leur impact sur l'enseignement/apprentissage du FLE.
On verra que, loin des objectifs pédagogiques, le manuel peut parfois servir à des fins d'instrumentalisation, voire d'influence sur ses utilisateurs.
