Renal cell carcinoma our experince in clinical presentation in al-Hilla teaching Hospital

Background Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) considered as the most common cancer of the kidney, its unforeseeable clinical behavior is the whole mark of tumor presentation.

Its risk factors and cause are not fully understood.

There is Expansive workup being done in order to understand the nature of this cancer, the main concern is the early discovering and forthwith treatment.

Objective: The aim of this study was to define the modes of clinical presentation of RCC in Babylon province.

Patients and methods: This study was done in a retrospective manner for 60 casess came to Al-Hilla general Teaching Hospital in a period from September 2011 to August 2016 to specify the criterion the mode of RCCs cases presentations.

Cases with RCC who are presented to Al-Hilla Teaching Hospital within this period, all were included in the study.

All patients data was brought back including history, physical examination, investigations (GUE, CBC, LFT, RFT), and radiological examination(CXR, abdominal US, CT scan, and MRI).

Results: 60 patients.

Their age between (32–75) years,55.4 were the mean age of, and 3:2 were The male to female ratio.

With the incidental discovery is the most common mode of presentation (36.7%).

Conclusion: Incidentally diagnosed patients were the most common mode of noticed.
