الملخص الإنجليزي

The aim of this research is to reveal the degree of influence of the social networking site (Facebook) on the values of middle school students, and given the nature of the research, a descriptive approach was used, and to achieve the goals of the study, a questionnaire was constructed, which consisted of (26) paragraphs, divided into four Areas are: The first field: religious values, the second field: moral values, and the third field: scientific values, the fourth field: social values The validity and reliability of the research tool has been verified.

The research tool was applied to (110) male and female students in the preparatory stage in the Al-Rifa’i Education Directorate, who were randomly selected.

The results indicated the following: 1.

The degree of influence of the social networking site (Facebook) on the values of middle school students came largely to all areas of the tool (religious values, moral values, scientific values, and social values).

2.

There are statistically significant differences in the degree of influence of the social networking site (Facebook) on the values of middle school students according to the difference of sex in favor of males.

In light of the researcher's findings, the research recommended the following: 1.

Organizing courses to educate, guide and guide students in correct and proper ways on the proper use of social media and investing in the scientific, cultural and social benefits.

2.

Carrying out more studies on social media and its various social dimensions so that the results are generalizable.
