The assumed pattern in the future of the relationship between Federal government and Kurdistan region had specified as a comprehensive rights that included without any deprivation for Kurdish national movement , especially the reality of the crisis between the central unit and local unit had been envisaged according to the political compromise which prevailed inside the democracy’s process in Iraq post 2003 .

But the real crisis had begun when the Kurdistan region procured the self – determination referendum on 25th of September 2017 in order to declare the Kurdish state later , So the whole parties in such of both the international and regional scenes had refused the procedures of the formation the new state according to the national affiliations of the Kurdish nationalism owing to the extension that on all lines of problems near the borders of Iraq’s regional neighbors.

However , the nature of processing the relationship between Federal government and Kurdistan region was depending on the continuous crises , especially over the energy sector and the disputing areas according to the constitutional article ( 140 ) of Iraqi permanent constitution in which did not apply yet .

Furthermore , we need a vital role within the political process after the legislative election which hold on 12th of May 2018 , specifically after coming the new leadership on the level of legislative and executive powers alike , in order to complete all the requirements of achieving political and social security and re – building the peace in the whole region .

Finally , the future of the relationship between Iraqi government and Kurdistan region will depend on the nature of mutual understandings to conclude a comprehensive political settlement, for preserving the national unity and to make a real stability in the political life according to the constitutional clauses ; which provided all the guarantees for the human rights and public rights as soon as possible to fulfillment the protection for Iraqi peoples alike .
