This article aims to highlight the critical aspects of the personality of Sheikh al-Islam Taqi al-Din Ibn Taymiyyah al-Horrani al-Hanbali, he was one of the scholars of Islamic thought who adhered to the impact and the approach of the first generation, that is, the righteous ancestor and one of the innovators of the religion, as he opposed innovation and won the truth by showing the noble Sunnah.

He fought the sciences of the early generations, especially philosophy, and criticized Aristotelian logic and the theory of syllogism in a methodological and constructive criticism, and this was not just for the sake of demolishing, but for the sake of constructing a new edifice of logic, based on partial vocabulary or diagnosed phenomena belonging to the world of things.

In addition, he demonstrated the insufficiency of the Aristotelian syllogism as a method for attaining correct knowledge, while he captured the correct and untwisted forms of reasoning that are consistent with common sense are included in the Qur'an text, and he also proved the equilibrium between the measurement of legal representation and the measurement of Aristotelian comprehensiveness, and its preference over the latter.
