While the use of selective serotonin for re-uptake inhibitors (SSRI) in the treatment of depression is promising, it is also an Ares of Controversy In most parts of world.

To the controversy and the need for treatment, this paper assesses the current the status of the research and recommendations for using SSRIs.

Toward the paper reviews relevant literature to the prevalence and risks associated with major depressive disorder (MDD) among youth the paper then summarizes the research on SSRIS and identifies which ones are lambent.

Finally, a set of guidelines for treating youth depression is of freed one that combines approved SSRIs and SSRIs and psychotherapy.
