The valorization of the dried figs of Beni Maouche counts among the three pilot experiments of an ambitious program launched by the Algerian authorities, with the objective of identifying and valorizing regional products.
This experience allowed the mobilization of many different actors who acted in a coordinated and concerted manner to achieve, after a long process, to product recognition.
Our goal through this paper is to identify the logic and mechanisms of this collective action.

La valorisation de la figue sèche de Beni Maouche compte parmi les trois expériences pilotes d'un ambitieux programme lancé par les pouvoirs publics algériens, avec pour objectif de recenser et de valoriser les produits de terroirs.
L'expérience de la figue de Beni Maouche a permis la mobilisation d'un ensemble d'acteurs de nature différente, qui ont agi de façon coordonnée et concertée pour aboutir, après un long processus, à une reconnaissance du produit.
Notre objectif à travers ce papier est d'identifier les logiques et les mécanismes de cette action collective.
