Spousal violence against women in the uae society

The study aims at uncovering the magnitude and patterns of violence committed against married women by their husbands in the UAE society.

The study also aims to find out the most important factors associated with patterns of perpetrating physical, psychological and sexual violence. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 920 married women from various emirates in the UAE, where percentages and Pearson correlation coefficients were used to answer the study questions and achieve its objectives.
