This study has shown the following: NOS is a way that always considers the genuine nature of science, in terms of its epistemology, history, methodology, and significance.

- Attention should be given to the NOS within undergraduate science majors as well as pre-service science teacher's preparation programs.

- More professional development courses and activities should focus on teachers' understandings of NOS and ways to translate these understandings into classroom practice.

- Emphasis should be directed to the method of science and NOS in all undergraduate introductory science courses.

- The need to highlight the process of scientific verification and NOS in all science textbooks and resources at university and pre-university education.
