This study highlights the activity of the ethnic embassy in Tunisia, which was opened after Tunisia gained independence from the French occupation that began in 1881 and ended with Tunisia gaining independence in 1956 after a bitter conflict with the French occupier.

Iraqi diplomacy played a major role in strengthening Tunisian independence, having paved the way for the visit of Iraqi officials to Tunisia and offered them entry into the Arab League and succeeded in voting on the Arab draft resolution to accept Tunisia as a member of the Arab League in addition to that The Iraqi Embassy and its diplomats contributed to the strengthening of political relations, especially after the Revolution of July 14, 1958, by introducing the principles and objectives of the revolution and obtaining Tunisia's recognition of the Iraqi Republic.

However, these activities declined somewhat after the events of February 8, 1963, for reasons that could not be mentioned until 1968.
