الملخص EN

The current research aims to “Employing the Strategy Directed Imagination in Preparing Television Programs for Teaching Free Drawing”, where the strategy of directed imagination was relied upon in preparing typical series for television program for teaching free drawing.

As the guiding imagination strategy was adopted in preparing model episodes for a TV program to teach painting and preparing model episodes according to the general steps of the strategy and implementing episodes from them on a preliminary experimental sample where it proved its effectiveness in developing the skill of drawing The researcher used the experimental one-group research method with preand post-test for its suitability and the aim of the research in measuring the effectiveness of the proposed TV program.

The current research community represents the students to whom the program is directed from among the regular students within the schools of Baquba City Center (for the academic year 2017-2018), which is supposed to be broadcast to them through the Diyala satellite channel, as the number of schools reached (22) secondary schools.

The research reached a number of conclusions as follows:A traditional lecture cannot in any way employ huge energies which in folds on it strategy of directed imagination, this needs to get the support of television techniques for the students to acquire the imagination abilities which are considered basic for creative works in there different shapes.

The study recommended the necessity of updating with the educational process for the communicative environment which are lived by the students.

The necessity of the process demands employing this strategy through television, in order to achieve an educational process having a high level of quality.

The necessity to embody the scenarios of employing the strategy of directed imagination to teach free drawing, which is included in this research in television programs and applying them to students to show the limits of their effectiveness and what comes out of scientific results.
